A delicious Italian white wine brimming with orange blossom and quince characters.
A white from red grapes. Sounds odd, but the key is simply to run the juice away from the skins promptly on pressing. It's quite a common technique, but this is the first we've tasted made from Sangiovese, the famous red grape of Tuscany (think Chianti).
It has a wonderful texture with layers of soft fruit on the palate.
