An intriguing Tuscan white crafted entirely from Sangiovese, the region’s most renowned red grape. Produced using a gentle pressing technique that swiftly separates juice from skins, this “white from red grapes” offers a fresh and elegant interpretation of a classic variety. It reflects the philosophy of the producer, rooted in Tuscan tradition yet guided by a continual pursuit of quality and innovation.
Tasting Notes:
Bright, clear straw yellow in colour. The nose is expressive and aromatic, with notes of orange blossom and broom flower, complemented by hints of sour cherry and quince. The palate is textured and harmonious, combining soft orchard fruit with a fine mineral thread. Fresh and balanced, with a subtle savoury nuance and a persistent, refined finish.
Winemaking:
Produced in Tuscany at the foot of Mount Cetona, where favourable conditions support high-quality grape growing. Sangiovese grapes are gently pressed, with the juice quickly separated from the skins to avoid colour and tannin extraction. Fermentation takes place under controlled conditions to preserve aromatic purity and freshness, resulting in a wine that balances tradition with modern precision.
Food Pairing:
A versatile partner to grilled fish, seafood risotto, roast chicken and light pasta dishes. Its freshness and texture also suit soft cheeses and vegetable-led dishes.
ABV: 12.5%
