Vranec has become the national red grape of North Macedonia and is now gaining a reputation on the international stage. It's a grape variety that produces deep coloured and full bodied wines.
Here we have a wonderful example. It's deep coloured and shows layers of dark fruit and hints of spice and liquorice on both the nose and palate. Given that only a very small proportion of the wine is matured in barrel it shows a remarkable level of complexity.
