Description

A fresh and expressive white Bordeaux from Château Les Tourelles, produced in the Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux appellation by the Darriet family. Blending Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon, this wine balances bright aromatics with a touch of roundness, offering a well-judged and characterful expression of the region.

Tasting Notes:
Pale straw in colour with bright clarity, the nose shows lifted aromas of citrus, white currant and subtle tropical fruit. The palate is fresh and well-balanced, combining zesty lemon and grapefruit with softer notes of stone fruit and a gentle textural richness. Clean and lively, it finishes with a refreshing lift and a touch of rounded fruit.

Winemaking:
Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon are grown on well-exposed vineyards with clay-limestone soils, promoting both ripeness and freshness. The grapes are vinified to preserve aromatic clarity and balance, with careful temperature control ensuring a clean and fruit-driven style that reflects the character of the blend.

Food Pairing:
A versatile white that works well as an aperitif or alongside seafood, grilled fish and fresh salads. It also pairs nicely with light poultry dishes and simple Mediterranean cuisine, where its balance of freshness and texture complements a range of flavours.

ABV: 12.5%
