A polished and expressive Cabernet Sauvignon from Las Niñas, sourced from the renowned Apalta sector within Chile’s Rapel Valley. Part of the estate’s Terroir Collection, this wine reflects a combination of carefully selected vineyard sites and a winemaking approach focused on balance, texture and varietal clarity.
Tasting Notes:
Deep ruby in colour with violet highlights, the nose is rich and inviting, offering aromas of black cherry and ripe dark fruits, layered with notes of cocoa, vanilla and a touch of black pepper spice. The palate is smooth and well-structured, with concentrated blackberry fruit supported by fine, silky tannins. Subtle oak influence brings hints of dark chocolate and gentle spice, leading to a persistent, rounded finish.
Winemaking:
Produced from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the wine is vinified to preserve fruit intensity and structure, followed by 12 months’ maturation in French oak barrels. This ageing enhances complexity and texture while allowing the natural character of the fruit to remain at the forefront.
Food Pairing:
Well suited to grilled meats, roast beef and lamb, as well as rich pasta dishes and mature cheeses, where its depth and structure are well matched.
