The Chablis Vieilles Vignes comes from the domaine's oldest vines, which are over 60 years old (planted by Olivier's Grandfather)..
Vinified separately from other Chablis, the yield is naturally low, resulting in a wine of great aromatic richness.
It can be stored for 5 to 6 years.
Domaine Alexandre, a family-run vineyard, has been passed down through three generations. Today, Olivier manages a 13-hectare estate spread across four communes: Beines, La Chapelle Vaupelteigne, Lignorelles, and Villy.
What makes Domaine Alexandre unique is its respectful approach to grape cultivation. This includes pneumatic pressing, static settling (a process that aims to eliminate coarse particles), and fermentation in enamelled steel tanks.
