Es Fresc, as its name suggests, is crafted with freshness and drinkability in mind from vineyards in the Son Vich de Superna estate. Majorca’s Serra de Tramuntana imparts a distinctive mineral tension to the grapes, and this wine showcases a lighter, vibrant profile while remaining true to the island’s character.
Tasting Notes:
Pale ruby with bright reflections, the nose shows delicate red fruit aromas with hints of cherry and redcurrant, accompanied by subtle tobacco and light spice from brief oak contact. The palate is gentle and silky, with a refreshing balance of fruit and soft tannins, making it highly approachable.
Winemaking:
A blend featuring Manto Negro, Tempranillo and Merlot, the grapes are harvested and vinified to emphasise clarity and vibrancy. A light touch of oak contributes to nuance without overshadowing the fruit.
Food Pairing:
Ideal with lighter roast meats such as pork or chicken, pasta with tomato sauces, summer grills or easy-going tapas. Its refreshing style also works well with charcuterie and soft cheeses.
ABV: 12.5%
