The production of this organically produced wine is totally focussed on locking in the vibrant fruit and freshness of the variety. It's made from the Macabeu grape without the addition of sulphites. The palate displays a lovely combination of ripe pear with zesty citrus notes on the finish. It has such purity and precision, making it a wonderful aperitif or match to white fish.
Château Nadal Hainaut was established in 1826 on an ancient monastery from the 12th century. It is a family owned estate, located right in the heart of Languedoc-Roussillon. The vineyard was built on a rich terroir between mountain and sea, made of Chalky-clay soil with river pebbles. A temperate climate stimulated by the powerful wind ‘tramontane’. Jean-Marie Nadal and his daughters Julie and Pauline are working harmoniously with nature, encouraging bio-diversity along with sustainable winemaking, resulting in a range of beautifully balanced Organic wines.
