Vidiano is a native Cretan grape prized for its aromatic purity and balanced acidity, producing whites of remarkable freshness and elegance that reflect the Mediterranean terroir.
Tasting Notes:
Pale straw with a gentle green hue, the nose is vibrant and youthful, showing aromas of fresh grapes, quince, pear and citrus alongside a subtle note of fresh almond. On the palate it is fresh and lively, with excellent acidity and a velvety texture that carries flavours of orchard fruit and citrus. The finish is clean and refreshing, reflecting both varietal character and regional vitality.
Winemaking:
Made from 100% Vidiano grown on vineyards in the Heraklion region, fermentation and careful handling preserve the grape’s natural aromatics and freshness. Minimal intervention winemaking allows the purity of fruit and the Mediterranean influence of Crete to shine, delivering a balanced and expressive white wine.
Food Pairing:
An excellent companion to seafood, grilled fish and salads, as well as Mediterranean dishes and light poultry. Its bright acidity and fresh fruit profile also complement vegetable-based cuisine and dishes with subtle herbal seasoning.
