2023 Zweigelt 'Brillant Von Eckhof', Weignut Ecker-Eckhof, Wagram, Austria

Zweigelt is such a friendly grape variety. It produces red wines that are lively and fresh with plenty of vivid fruit. This is an excellent example. It's soft textured and has a little more richness than some, yet the fruit is still remarkably fresh. Cherry, blueberry and redcurrant all to the fore.
