This unoaked Chenin Blanc from Cape Wild expresses the coastal terroir of South Africa’s premium vineyard sites. The vines are planted on sandy soils over granite bedrock, benefiting from the moderating influence of southern ocean breezes which preserve freshness and balance.
Tasting Notes:
The nose shows ripe peach and tropical fruit with subtle lime zest. On the palate, the wine is honeyed and textured, with crisp acidity, hints of lychee and a bright, tangy citrus finish that lingers elegantly.
Winemaking:
Fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve varietal purity, the wine was aged on its lees for nine months, enhancing texture and complexity without the use of oak.
Food Pairing:
Pairs beautifully with seafood, shellfish, chicken dishes, creamy vegetable salads or fresh goat’s cheese.
ABV: 12.5%
