A delicate Sicilian rosé from Cantine Pellegrino, crafted from Frappato and Malvasia Bianca grown under the sun-drenched conditions of western Sicily. “Diantha” reflects the island’s ability to produce wines of both aromatic charm and natural freshness, combining Mediterranean fruit character with a light, elegant style.
Tasting Notes:
Bright pale pink in colour, with expressive aromas of wild strawberry, pomegranate and soft floral notes of orange blossom and jasmine. The palate is soft and well balanced, showing fresh red fruit flavours with a gentle, lightly sparkling (pétillant) sensation that adds lift and vibrancy. The finish is smooth, fresh and moderately persistent.
Winemaking:
Produced from Frappato and Malvasia Bianca grapes grown in Sicily, where warm conditions and cooling coastal influences help preserve aromatic intensity. Careful vinification is used to maintain freshness and varietal expression, resulting in a rosé that is light, fragrant and gently textured.
Food Pairing:
Ideal with light Mediterranean dishes, seafood, fresh salads and antipasti. Also well suited as an aperitif, particularly when served well chilled.
ABV: 12.5%
