A generous and expressive Spanish red blend from Castillo de Aresan, combining Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot to create a wine with plenty of ripe fruit, structure and character. Produced in the sun-drenched vineyards of Castilla, this approachable red balances the juicy fruit of Tempranillo with the depth of Cabernet Sauvignon and the colour, spice and structure contributed by Petit Verdot.
Tasting Notes:
Deep ruby red in colour with violet highlights, the nose is ripe and inviting, with aromas of black cherry, plum and blackberry complemented by subtle notes of violet, dried herbs and gentle spice. The palate is rounded and full-flavoured, offering generous red and dark berry fruit supported by smooth tannins and balanced acidity. Petit Verdot brings an appealing touch of spice and savoury depth, leading to a smooth, well-structured and persistent finish.
Winemaking:

The varieties are carefully vinified to preserve their individual fruit and aromatic characteristics before blending, creating a harmonious balance between ripe fruit, freshness and structure. The result is a vibrant, fruit-driven red with an approachable texture and plenty of Spanish character.

An excellent match for grilled and roasted meats, particularly beef, pork and lamb. It also pairs beautifully with barbecued dishes, tomato-based pasta, charcuterie, roasted Mediterranean vegetables and mature cheeses.
