Description

A vibrant and expressive Sauvignon Blanc from the heart of the Touraine, sourced from vineyards around Saint-Georges-sur-Cher on clay-siliceous hillsides along the left bank of the River Cher. This is a classic Loire white shaped by cool-climate freshness and careful vineyard selection, delivering both aromatic intensity and approachable balance.

Tasting Notes:
Bright pale yellow in the glass, the nose is lifted and aromatic with notes of pineapple, passion fruit, citrus and white orchard fruits. There is a subtle exotic edge alongside more classic Sauvignon characteristics of grapefruit and green fruit. The palate is rounded and generous for the style, combining juicy fruit purity with lively, well-integrated acidity. A mineral thread runs through the wine, leading to a long, refreshing and aromatic finish.

Winemaking:
Grapes are harvested in Saint-Georges-sur-Cher and gently pressed using pneumatic press. After a short settling period, the clear juice is fermented in stainless steel at controlled low temperatures to preserve aromatics. Following fermentation, the wine is racked and matured on fine lees to enhance texture and aromatic complexity while retaining freshness and precision.

Food Pairing:
Ideal as an aperitif, or served with seafood, grilled fish, shellfish and light salads. It also pairs particularly well with goat’s cheese, where its citrus-driven freshness and gentle minerality provide perfect balance.

ABV: 12.5%
