Crafted from Viura, Rioja’s classic white grape, this Barrica style combines freshness with subtle oak complexity, showcasing the region’s signature elegance and balance. A wine that can be enjoyed immediately or cellared for a few years to develop further depth.
Tasting Notes:
Pale yellow with soft green-gold reflections, the nose is layered with aromas of citrus blossom, white peach, and gentle honeyed notes, complemented by subtle hints of oak. The palate is fresh and creamy, with a soft, rounded texture and a refined, lingering finish that reveals delicate nutty and floral nuances.
Winemaking:
Fermented and aged on its lees in a combination of Central European acacia, French and American oak barrels for a minimum of three months, this wine develops complexity while preserving the varietal purity and bright acidity of Viura. Minimal intervention ensures the expression of both grape and terroir.
Food Pairing:
Perfect with grilled or baked fish, seafood, poultry with creamy sauces, or soft cheeses. Its harmonious balance also makes it a refined choice as an aperitif.
