Description

A refined and expressive Chardonnay from Las Niñas’ Terroir Collection, sourced from the cool-climate Leyda Valley, part of the broader San Antonio Valley. Influenced by Pacific breezes, this wine combines freshness with carefully judged oak to produce a balanced and textured coastal style.

Tasting Notes:
Pale gold in colour with bright highlights, the nose is layered and elegant, showing ripe orchard and stone fruits including apricot and peach, alongside citrus notes of grapefruit. Subtle oak influence brings hints of toasted bread, butter and a gentle nuttiness. The palate is rounded yet fresh, with a creamy texture from lees ageing balanced by vibrant acidity. Flavours of ripe fruit, citrus and light spice carry through to a long, poised finish with a faint mineral edge.

Winemaking:
Fermented at cool temperatures to preserve aromatic clarity, with part of the fermentation completed in French oak barrels. The wine is aged for around 12 months in first-use French oak, with regular lees stirring to build texture and complexity while maintaining freshness and balance.

Food Pairing:
Well suited to grilled seafood, roast chicken and creamy dishes. Its balance of richness and acidity also pairs well with buttery sauces and mushroom-based dishes.

ABV: 13%
