Description

A beautifully aromatic Vin Doux Naturel from Beaumes-de-Venise in the Southern Rhône, Terre Blonde is produced from Muscat à Petits Grains grown on the distinctive pale Miocene soils at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail. Lusciously sweet yet wonderfully fresh, the 2025 combines exuberant floral and fruit character with an elegant, balanced finish. The 50cl bottle makes it a particularly versatile choice for the dinner table.

Tasting Notes:
Bright golden yellow in colour, the nose is intensely aromatic with notes of orange blossom, honeysuckle, ripe peach and apricot alongside fresh grape, citrus and a touch of exotic fruit. The palate is rich and silky, with luscious stone fruit and honeyed flavours balanced by refreshing acidity. Floral notes and hints of candied citrus bring additional complexity, leading to a long, fragrant and beautifully poised finish.

Winemaking:
Produced from Muscat à Petits Grains grown on the distinctive terres blondes of Beaumes-de-Venise, close to the Dentelles de Montmirail. The grapes are vinified to preserve their naturally expressive floral and fruit aromas, with fermentation arrested by the addition of grape spirit in the traditional mutage process. This retains natural grape sweetness while creating the richness and concentration characteristic of Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise.

Food Pairing:
An excellent match for fruit tarts, crème brûlée, nougat, blue cheeses and desserts featuring peach or apricot. It also pairs beautifully with foie gras, pâté, lightly spiced Asian dishes and fresh fruit, while its aromatic intensity makes it equally enjoyable served well chilled as an aperitif.

ABV: 15%
