A large-format Cru Bourgeois Supérieur from Listrac-Médoc, a Left Bank appellation known for producing structured, long-lived Bordeaux wines. The 2020 vintage reflects a ripe, balanced expression of Merlot-dominant fruit with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.
Tasting Notes:
Deep, vibrant ruby in colour, the nose is generous and open, with black cherry, plum and blackberry at the core, supported by violet, liquorice, sweet spice and subtle toasted oak. The palate is broad and textural, with impressive depth of fruit, supple yet present tannins and a fresh, balancing acidity. The finish is long, layered and persistent, with excellent harmony in this format.
Winemaking:
Traditional Bordeaux vinification with careful parcel selection, followed by maturation in oak to build structure and complexity.
Food Pairing:
Perfect for roast meats, slow-cooked dishes and hearty game, as well as aged cheeses.
ABV: 14%
