An exceptionally rare large-format bottling of Cru Bourgeois Supérieur Bordeaux from Listrac-Médoc, produced from the estate’s classic Left Bank blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The 2019 vintage is noted for its balance, ripeness and classical structure.
Tasting Notes:
Deep garnet with evolving brick highlights, the nose is complex and layered, opening with blackcurrant, ripe plum and blackberry, followed by violet, cedar, tobacco leaf and spice box notes. The palate is broad, structured and finely balanced, with concentrated dark fruit, polished tannins and a fresh, persistent acidity. The Nebuchadnezzar format enhances aromatic stability and ageing capacity, delivering a long, savoury and refined finish.
Winemaking:
Traditional Bordeaux vinification with careful parcel selection, followed by maturation in oak barrels to build structure and integrate complexity.
