Description

A Brut Champagne from Lete-Vautrain in the Vallée de la Marne, Brut 204 is a terroir-driven cuvée that highlights the expressive character of Meunier, balanced by Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

Tasting Notes:
Deep golden in colour with a fine, persistent mousse. The nose is fresh and inviting, showing ripe orchard fruits such as peach and apricot, alongside notes of red apple and subtle floral lift. On the palate, the wine is rounded yet precise, combining generous fruit with a supple texture and a refreshing line of acidity. Flavours of apple, stone fruit and a touch of dried fruit complexity carry through to a balanced, lightly savoury finish.

Winemaking:
This cuvée is composed of approximately 50% Meunier, 25% Chardonnay and 25% Pinot Noir, sourced from the Vallée de la Marne. Produced using the traditional method, the wine undergoes secondary fermentation in bottle followed by around three years’ ageing on its lees, building depth and texture while retaining freshness. It is finished with a low Brut dosage of around 5 g/l, resulting in a dry, well-balanced style that reflects both fruit purity and regional character.

Food Pairing:
A versatile Champagne suited to a wide range of occasions, from aperitif drinking to more casual dining. It pairs well with charcuterie, grilled meats, roast poultry, and brunch dishes, as well as simple seafood and sharing plates.

ABV: 12.5%
