We're thrilled with this find. A mature claret that is great value, drinking very well at the moment, and in magnum format!

From the heart of the St Emilion appellation and made entirely from Merlot. The style is soft textured and approachable, and following 12 months ageing in barrel the wine combines lively blackcurrant and blackberry with hints of tobacco and subtle spice.  Magnum is the perfect format for ageing wine, and over the past 12 years the tannins have softened and more tertiary (earthy) notes have developed.
