A delightful introduction to 'Pet-Nat' with vibrant orchard fruits and light fizz. Pétillant Naturel is nothing new, in fact it is a very traditional method of sparkling wine production, usually called méthode ancestrale, whereby the wine is bottled during the first fermentation without the addition of sugar and yeast in the bottle. It retains a slight cloudiness from the yeast in the first fermentation but this just helps add a layer of flavour interest. At just 8.5%alcohol, and without the addition of further sugar it has often been described as a slightly healthier choice!
