A refined late harvest Tokaji from the historic Béres estate, this Magita Cuvée captures the richness and aromatic depth for which Tokaj is celebrated, balanced by the region’s signature vibrant acidity.
Tasting Notes:
Deep golden in colour with an intensely expressive bouquet of ripe stone fruit, dried apricot, honey and citrus peel, layered with notes of raisin, fig and subtle floral tones. The palate is rich and concentrated, showing generous sweetness lifted by fresh acidity, which brings balance and clarity to the wine’s natural opulence. Complex and textured, it finishes long with lingering notes of honeyed fruit and dried citrus.
Winemaking:
Produced from a traditional Tokaji blend of Furmint, Hárslevelű, Sárgamuskotály and Kövérszőlő, selected from late-harvested grapes affected by natural drying and botrytis influence. The fruit is carefully harvested by hand in multiple passes before being gently pressed and fermented under controlled conditions. A short maturation in oak precedes blending, resulting in a harmonious late harvest style that combines botrytised richness with pure varietal fruit character.
Food Pairing:
Excellent with fruit-based desserts, crème brûlée, pastries and blue cheeses. It can also be enjoyed on its own as a richly textured finale to a meal.
