A precise and structured Cru Bourgeois Supérieur from the cooler, gravel-and-clay terroirs of Listrac-Médoc. Produced by the historic Saransot-Dupré estate, this 2020 vintage is a classic Left Bank blend led by Merlot, supported by Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.
Tasting Notes:
Deep ruby in colour, the nose opens with ripe black cherry, plum and blackberry, layered with violet, liquorice and subtle cedar spice. The palate is compact and focused in this smaller format, showing dark fruit purity, fine tannins and a fresh, linear acidity. The finish is elegant and savoury, reflecting the structured yet approachable style of the vintage.
Winemaking:
Traditional Bordeaux vinification with parcel-by-parcel selection. A proportion of oak maturation adds subtle spice and structure while preserving fruit expression.
Food Pairing:
Ideal with roast poultry, grilled meats, charcuterie and semi-hard cheeses.
ABV: 14%
