One of the new stars of St Emilion, Chateau Laroque has been on great form over the past decade, with the 2014 vintage being a huge success.
It has an intoxicating aroma of ripe fruit and a hint of tobacco in the background. The palate is full and soft textured. Again there is a lot of vivid fruit, but the secondary herbal, spicy and earthy notes are certainly in evidence. This is drinking so well right now and should continue to do so for the next 3-4 years at least.
