A classic Cru Bourgeois Supérieur from Listrac-Médoc, where cooler conditions and gravelly clay-limestone soils favour slow, even ripening and structured, age-worthy wines. The 2020 vintage is composed of Merlot-led fruit with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot completing the blend.
Tasting Notes:
Expressive aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry and ripe plum, with floral violet tones and hints of cedar, spice and graphite. The palate is more expansive than the half bottle, showing deeper fruit concentration, finer tannic integration and a longer, more layered finish. The magnum format enhances freshness and ageing potential, allowing greater precision and lift.
Winemaking:
Parcel selection and traditional Bordeaux vinification, followed by maturation in oak to integrate structure and refine texture.
Food Pairing:
Roast lamb, beef, duck and rich casseroles, as well as mature cheeses.
ABV: 14%
