Description

A generous and fruit-forward Bordeaux from Château Haut-Mouleyre, produced on the sun-drenched south and south-west facing hillsides overlooking the Garonne, near Cadillac. The estate lies within the Entre-Deux-Mers region, where varied clay-limestone terroirs and excellent natural drainage help shape wines of supple structure and ripe expression.

Crafted predominantly from Merlot with a small proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon, this cuvée reflects a classic Right Bank style focused on purity of fruit and easy-drinking charm.

Tasting Notes:
Deep ruby in colour, the nose is open and inviting, with aromas of ripe black cherry, plum and blackberry. Subtle floral hints of violet mingle with gentle notes of vanilla and soft spice. The palate is smooth and rounded, offering generous dark fruit supported by supple tannins and a soft, approachable texture. A touch of freshness lifts the wine through to a balanced, fruit-led finish.

Winemaking:
Merlot-led Bordeaux blend sourced from carefully selected hillside parcels. Fermentation takes place with an emphasis on preserving fruit clarity and varietal character, followed by maturation that gently integrates structure without overshadowing the wine’s naturally plush fruit profile.

Food Pairing:
A versatile Bordeaux well suited to roast chicken, grilled meats, sausages and hearty vegetable dishes. It also pairs comfortably with semi-soft cheeses and classic charcuterie boards.

Format Note: Magnum format enhances freshness retention and allows the wine’s soft, fruit-driven style to evolve gradually over time, making it ideal for sharing.

ABV: 12.5%
