A magnum format of Brut 204 from Lete-Vautrain in the Vallée de la Marne, offering the same expressive, terroir-driven Champagne in a larger bottle that enhances slow maturation and finesse over time.
Tasting Notes:
Deep golden in colour with a fine, persistent mousse. The nose is fresh and expressive, showing ripe orchard fruits of peach and apricot alongside red apple, subtle floral lift and a gentle hint of pastry. On the palate, the wine is rounded and harmonious, with generous fruit character balanced by a supple texture and refreshing acidity. Flavours of apple, stone fruit and a touch of dried fruit complexity lead into a clean, balanced finish with light savoury nuance.
Winemaking:
Composed of approximately 50% Meunier, 25% Chardonnay and 25% Pinot Noir from the Vallée de la Marne, this cuvée is produced using the traditional method. Secondary fermentation takes place in bottle, followed by around three years ageing on lees to build depth, texture and complexity while retaining freshness. The wine is finished with a Brut dosage of around 5 g/l, resulting in a dry, balanced style that reflects its terroir and grape blend.
Food Pairing:
Well suited to sharing and celebration, particularly in larger gatherings. A versatile Champagne that works equally well as an aperitif or alongside charcuterie, roast poultry, grilled meats and simple seafood dishes.
ABV: 12.5%
