Description

A rosé Champagne from Lete-Vautrain in the Vallée de la Marne, Rosé Royal is a traditional blend that combines freshness, structure and expressive red fruit character, enhanced by extended ageing in bottle.

Tasting Notes:
Deep salmon-pink in colour with a fine, persistent mousse. The nose opens with delicate floral notes of rose petals and soft blossom, before developing into more expressive aromas of fresh red fruits, crushed raspberry and wild strawberry. On the palate, the wine is generous yet elegant, showing a rounded, full-flavoured profile with vibrant red berry fruit at its core. Subtle tannic structure from the red wine component adds shape and texture, leading to a smooth, balanced finish with a refreshing lift.

Winemaking:
This cuvée is composed of approximately 60% Meunier, 20% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir, with around 15% still red wine (from Meunier and Pinot Noir) added to create its rosé character. Produced using the traditional method, the wine undergoes secondary fermentation in bottle followed by around four years ageing on lees, allowing aromatic complexity and texture to develop. It is finished with a Brut dosage of approximately 5 g/l, maintaining freshness while supporting its expressive fruit profile.

Food Pairing:
A versatile rosé Champagne that works beautifully as an aperitif, as well as alongside fruit-based desserts, particularly fresh strawberries and summer fruit salads. It also pairs well with light pastries and delicate canapés.

ABV: 12.5%
