Origin : Grande Champagne 1st Cru
Grape variety : 100% Ugni Blanc
Distillation on fine lees (pot stills 18 and 25 hl)
Aged in Limousin oak casks (400 to 500 litres)
It's an exceptional, deep mahogany colour with aromas of apricot, cinnamon and toasted brioche bursting out of the glass.
Rich and textured on the palate, this cognac, named from the share which evaporates each year from the barrels, perfectly marries the spicy oak notes of the old Grande Champagne Cognacs.
The layers of flavour take your taste buds on a journey around a fine feast of fig, apricot and jasmine, quince and walnuts, toasted bread and chocolate notes on the finish.
We think this is as good as it gets.
