Description

A blend of many of the key Douro red grapes (Tinto Roriz, Touriga Nacional etc.) and one of the best value wines coming from this famous region. 

From the manual grape harvesting, to the ageing of 20% of the wine in fine Allier oak barrels and winemaking partnership with the team at Chateau Angelus (a big name in Bordeaux), everything about this wine screams premium quality. And then you see the price! 

It's aromatic, elegant and very refined. There's an abundance of clean and fruity notes, with layers of mulled black berry, cherry stone and a wonderfully crunchy, classy baked cherry pie. It has a good full texture but it's not a heavyweight in terms of tannins. It really is a wine for all seasons.
