Description

This young tawny port bridges the gap between ruby and tawny port.

Nine months in stainless steel tanks, thereafter the wine is transferred to wooden casks with a capacity of 550 litres for 4 years and then bottled .

On the palate there is still some lively red fruit, but alongside this are aged fig and dried fruit notes.

Quinta Santa Eufémia is a family company that has been producing Port & Douro wines since 1864. Located in the Douro region of Baixo and Cima Corgo on the left side of the river Douro at an altitude about 300m above sea level, the estate continues to be managed by the Carvalho family. Eirados is one of the oldest vineyards of the Quinta and the name of this exclusive label for Vindependents. The Ports are classic styles, well packaged and well priced. The still wines are full of fruit but well balanced and moreish.
