Description

Produced from the white grape variety that is most characteristic of the Rioja region, Viura. Its classic composition means that it can be drunk immediately or laid down for a few years. A very Riojan white wine.

It remains on its own lees for a minimum of three months in Central European acacia and French and American oak barrels. Each of these contributes its own aromas and fragrances. To taste it is to experience the impact of freshness alongside beautifully elegant notes. It is a wine that is both rich and smooth.

A pale yellow-green colour with delicate golden hues resulting from its ageing in wood casks. In the nose there is a perfect integration of the subtle fragrances from the different woods over a honeyed background of fresh fruit. On the palate it has a fresh, creamy entrance, with a pleasantly delicate hint of oak which ensures a complex finish. This is a wine that can be drunk now or laid down for some years to further increase its depth and complexity.
