A great introduction to orange wine. No, it's not made with oranges, it's made from grapes just like any other wine. It's also made from a trio of classic 'white' grapes, but due to an extended period of skin contact it has taken on more colour, flavour and a touch of tannin.
The muscat grapes give the wine a vibrant floral note, but in the background there are hint of dried citrus peel and nuts. It has a little added texture, but there is certainly nothing aggressive about these tannins, they're soft and very gentle. On the palate tropical notes combine with a hint of spice and nutty notes.
Best served lightly chilled.
