A blend of Viognier 53%, Hárslevelü 25%, Sauvignon Blanc 11% and Semillon 11%. Notes of orange zest and spice mingle with apricot and peach on the nose. There is rich intensity on the palate with excellent balance.

2019 The Den Chenin Blanc, Painted Wolf Wines, Swartland, South Africa
This wine has a bright aroma and flavour of tropical fruit. Honeydew melon, guava and pineapple with an under lying savoury minerality and a lick of wood. The wine has a great texture and a long, layered finish with bright acidity keeping it fresh and vibrant.
The den Chenin blanc is delicious on its own. The wine is beautifully balanced with concentrated flavour. It is a versatile partner at the table complementing such classis dishes as coronation chicken, trout with almonds or even macaroni cheese. Great value for good everyday drinking with enough class for special dinners, high days and holidays.
Chenin blanc is harvested from a number of blocks in the Swartland region, both irrigated and dry farmed vines of various ages between 10 and 30 years old. 10% oak aged Chardonnay was blended in to the 2019 vintage for added depth.

A well-balanced wine with great drinkability. Serve with oven roasted lamb or smoked duck. From dry land, bush vines, this red blend displays a wide range of flavours including red plums, cherries and fresh crushed black pepper. The entry on the palate is smooth and juicy with a lingering finish. A blend of 42% Shiraz, 30% Mourvedre, 14% Grenache and 14% Carignan.

Making up 50% of all plantings, Kanonkop's Pinotage vines have been retained as bush vines to provide optimum sunlight and therefore maximum ripeness.
A deep purple-red colour, with a bright rim. This Pinotage offers notes of raspberry, strawberry and red cherry which is balanced by sweet spice, plum, redcurrant and supple tannins.

A great South Africa Pinotage, which is fruitier and more approachable than many. Medium bodied with red fruit and a touch of mocha. The palate is balanced and full of juicy notes of plum and berries. Probably at its best when served with red meats and game.

Intense in colour, with aromas of dark fruit, spice and earthy notes. The palate is complex, with fruit beautifully backed up by finely-integrated oak. The full body and juicy tannins give way to a lengthy, elegant finish. A blend of 52% Syrah, 32% Mourvèdre and 12% Grenache.

Elegance, freshness and finesse is key, still remaining concentrated and age able.
